Facilitation

If you’re bringing a group of people together for a specific purpose, you will likely benefit from a facilitator. In many cases, this can simply be someone from your own team. However, if you want all team members to participate fully without having to switch back and forth between “Facilitator” and “Participant”, or if the discussion could be fraught or tricky, you may want to consider an external facilitator like Raissa.

Whether for a team meeting or retreat, collaborative action planning, or working through a tricky situation, Raissa listens closely to your needs, designs a process to meet those needs, and then leads your group through the process with competence and skill. Her facilitation style is based on collaborative and democratic principles and rooted in popular education, which is founded on notions of anti-oppression and class struggle, and empowers people, collectively, to be responsible for their own learning and to effect social change.

If you think your organization could use a facilitator for your next team meeting or retreat, book an exploratory meeting with Raissa here.
